Ansel is a quarter horse with one blind eye. To our knowledge he has never been abused but was just unwanted.
He is very well trained and has been placed with a single mom and her son Justin, who has Down's Syndrome.
Ansel always plays the perfect gentleman.
In October of 2004, Justin and Ansel won the Gold Medal at the Regional Special Olympics in Western Equitation. This was a wonderful achievement for a special young man and his special horse. Congratulations to both, especially considering it was their first show.
