Bill

Bill arrived at the rescue on October2 ,2007. He was voluntarily surrendered by his owner as she was facing foreclosure on her home and had no place for Bill. Bill is a seven year old Fjord cross. He stands 12.3 hands and weighs in at a hefty 776 pounds. Bill has been handled roughly in the past prior to his last owner and needs lots of TLC to assure him that he won't be hurt again. We were told that he knows how to drive but we're not sure about any saddle training. He wants very badly to be someone's best little friend. We would not recommend him for children at this point. Bill has been adopted by Liz Lioy, our treasurer and most recent board member. Liz is waiting for warmer weather to start Bill on saddle training. Liz has ridden him in the paddock and Bill is extremely smooth but very nervous.
