Buddy is a ten year old Quarter horse gelding that was abandoned at a local boarding stable. He stands about 15 hands high and we were told that he is dead broke and bombproof but we will have to evaluate him first. He is well behaved, loves affection and is a nice quiet ride. He is good with and tolerant of beginners. He is not registered so is a grade horse. Buddy is still at the stable until we have room for him here at the rescue.
Buddy has now been ridden on the trails and seems to like his job. We were told that he has beginning navicular but we have not seen the x-rays even after repeated requests to do so. If he is ridden hard he does show some tenderness in the right front. He is a good boy and deserves a nice permanent home.
