Caddy looks good and with proper shoeing/trims can be lightly ridden.
She is also very sweet and friendly.
Hooter and Caddy must stay together as they have been together most of their lives and want to make their move as stress free as possible.
We also prefer they go where there is at least a third horse.
Hooter may only have another year or two left and we wouldn't want his pasture mate to go into depression and loneliness.
Neither of these horses have ever been abused.
The owner is quite elderly and contacted the rescue so she would be assured they would be taken care of for the rest of their lives and never go to slaughter!
We will abide by her wishes.
