We brought them both in on July 28, 2002.
Ginger had a prior injury to her left front leg and we understand that the kind people who previously owned and abandoned her were still riding her.
She could hardly walk because her leg was so bent.
Sometimes we would really like to meet this kind of person(s)in a dark alley somewhere.
Some people do not deserve to own animals.
Ginger was doing well and loving life until March 17, 2003.
We noticed her laying down in the mud.
We dragged her out of the mud to a drier spot and attempted to get her up which she valiantly tried to do.
Her legs wouldn't support her and the vet was called.
It was determined that she had a stroke and at her advanced age and condition, it was decided to humanely euthanize her.
