When Hap came in he had a pronounced limp from his surgery. We very slowly exercised him everyday, increasing his exercise time by minutes each day. After two months of a controlled exercise program, Hap no longer had a limp.
He is about fifteen years old and is very calm, especially for a Thoroughbred. He doesn't get excited over much and is very patient.
JR, the woman that adopted Cookie, saw him one day and fell in love again. Needless to say, it was mutual and Hap has now been placed.
