here are many ways that you as an individual, small company or large corporation can help the horses. This rescue operates solely on donations and grants. We receive no state or federal subsidies whatsoever.
There are no paid employees and 95% of every dollar donated go directly to the care and feeding of the horses.
The other 5% covers costs of office supplies and miscellaneous expenses.
n addition to cash donations we desperately need hay, grain, wormers, vaccines and building materials.

e would never be able to do what we do without you!
ere's a way you can help with little effort. Nutrena Feeds has come up with a way to help our rescue with much needed funds. Any time you purchase Nutrena pet food. and tear off the labels and send it to us, the rescue gets a credit for anywhere between $0.10 and $0.50 per label. All branded Nutrena equine feeds, NatureWise Feeds, Pro-Premimum and River Run Pet Foods are eligible for redemption. Bird seed, Sweet Stuff and grain products such as whole corn, cracked corn and oats do not qualify for this program. The only acceptable proofs of purchase are the UPC labels from the bags. Won't you please help us to help the horses?

e need help in many ways. Volunteers are the key to any successful organization such as ours.
Without them, we would have to close the doors forever. We need people to feed, clean, groom, exercise and care for the horses of course,
but we also need help in the office. We need people to file, write letters, address envelopes,
do some public speaking and man booths at the local fairs. We could use some help doing follow-up visits on the horses that we have placed.
We need someone to pass out brochures to feed and tack stores in the area. We need some folks with fundraising experience. We could use some help doing follow-up visits on the horses that we have placed.
We need someone to pass out brochures to feed and tack stores in the area.
We need some folks with fundraising experience.
s you can see, we need help in many areas that do not require horse experience.
We do ask that if you are interested in becoming involved,
whether it be an hour a week, one day a month or whatever, just be consistent so that we know when you will be here.
lease remember that these horses depend on you, the public,
to keep them fed, sheltered and healthy.
Without public support, we the staff, could not do what we do for them.
