One day, a woman named Paula happened to call looking for a burro friend for her Jenny. We did our regular site visit and interviews and it was decided that Jasper would have a good home and went home on December 20th, 2002.
For the last two years, we used Jasper in the living Nativity scene at the First Presbyterian Church in Wyoming, NY. His job was to escort Mary and Joseph to the Manger. We might have to use horses this Christmas.
By the way, Jasper is the little one on the right in this picture.
