Red

Red is in his early to mid twenties and a sweet little pony.   He's been placed with a woman named Sally from Geneseo, NY for a companion to her own pony, Sarah.   When he came in, his left eye had had collapsed and was painful for him and was constantly draining.
We are happy to report that his new Mom had made the decision (as per her vet) to have the eye removed.   It was done shortly after he arrived and he is now doing very nicely and is pain free.  

We brought Red up from Pa. when we went down to visit Debbie from Double D Rescue and to pickup our "llama"   (we never did catch him), Tori and Springer. He was found at the New Holland auction. After seeing him, we just had to take him in. As you can see, it was a good move for him. Another one "saved from slaughter"! Thank you Sally for giving this guy a wonderful new life!
