Another special thanks goes out to Lori and the staff at Lori's Natural Foods in Rochester for their donation of $1500 to the rescue and their ongoing donations of natural products such as nettles and chaste tree berries for those horses with special needs.
Special thanks go out to Pioneer Credit Recovery with offices in Batavia, Perry and Arcade, NY. Each month two or three charities are selected for a donation and for August, 2005, we were one of the selected charities. On Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2005 H.O.R.S.E. Rescue and Sanctuary was awarded a donation in the amount of $3116.34. Needless to say, we were thrilled to be the receipients of such a generous amount. We have already started painting the existing shelters and are planning on building at least two more shelters for the winter. We also need to get our old 1986 GMC truck that was donated back on the road so we can pick up hay and needed building materials. Our deepest thanks go out to Pioneer Credit Recovery.
